fuel system trouble with my 95 vortech

well not sure how mutch my friend put in but anyway what is the hose that runs into the bottom of the throtle body
i removed the plenum again today just to make sure everything was good with the lines and i noticed it and hooked it up well i let the truck run and idled good got hot still idled good and reved it a little and it did fine havent drove it yet but i was wondering if that hose has anything to do with my air/fuel mixture

Picture?? I cannot picture the hose you are talking about... Where does the other end of the hose go? How large is it?

I had a similar problem...turned out the catalytic converter was clogged enough to rob the engine of power and it really ran like crap! good luck.
