Hey guys, i have a full list of trans codes. The codes are, 740, 753, 758, 785, and 1860.

About a week ago i was driving my blazer and noticed that it was stuck in 3rd gear. I can get 2nd if i manually shift it, but no 1st, 4th, or lock up. About a month ago i had pulled the t case in order to replace the front shaft seal as it was filling the t case with trans fluid.

I have talked to a few different mechanics about this and they felt that since i didnt heat the plugs before i pulled them out of the neutral safety switch that that was most likely my culprit. So, today i replaced the neutral safety switch to no avail. I then went through all of the different connections and made sure all of the wires were tight in the connections, and put di electric on all of them as well. After that i had a 2hi light, for the first time since i took the t case out.

But after all that i still have all of the codes. Any sugestions?

By the way, the truck is a 97 s10 blazer 4x4. Also, day by day is different. I can go out and drive it, and it will shift 1,2,3,4 and lock up like normal. The next time i start it ill only have 2 and 3.
