Just wandering if I could find anything online to tell me which fuses are which on a 97 Blazer. Mine is missing the cover. My a/c is fully charged, but doesnt work. I was wanting to check the fuse. It would also be handy to know what all of them controls.

Your owners manual should have a picture. If you no longer have your owners manual, they used to be available from MyGMLink.com. It is a free signup and owners manuals can be downloaded in PDF format.

Check low pressure switch on the accumulator. Unplug switch and jump the plug. If it is bad, this will run the Compressor.

The only way to know that the system is fully charged is if the compressor was running when the pressure was checked. If it was not running when the pressure was checked, then you are most definitely low on refrigerant. But if the fuse or the relay is bad, then you would not have been able to charge the system without applying power directly to the compressor clutch. And if the fuse or the relay was bad, jumping the low pressure switch would not result in the system working either.
Here is a link to the 1997 Owners Manual. Pages 6-60 thru 6-61 detail the fuse panel. I cannot remember if the relay is on the firewall or behind the glove box...

Thanks for the link to the owners manual. It will be very useful in the future. Fuse checked out good, so I jumped the low pressure switch and the compressor kicked on. I am not an a/c person, so does this mean the switch is bad? Or could it actually be that I am low on refrigerant? Did not check the pressure yet. Thanks for all the help.

You must check the pressure with the compressor engaged and engine running. Until you know that you have the system properly charged, you will not be able to determine if the low pressure switch is bad.
