Gas Fuel light stays on all times very dim
I have 2004 Chevrolet Blazer. For the last few months, my gas/fuel warning light that usually only comes on when the gas is low, seems to be constantly on. It is very dim and seems to glow constantly. I am no longer under warranty and was wondering if anyone had input to this problem? I have tried to reset by disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting, but that did not help. I also replaced the fuel filter, and that did not help either. So if any one has any info for a not so experienced car mechanic (owner) that would be great. Thanks.
It looks like it might be a faulty diode in your instrument cluster.
I'll look through the schematic and see if it might be a bad ground.....gotta check G203, but I gotta find it first
Ok, on the right side of the dash, behind the glove box there should be some ground wire connections. If you can find these, make sure they have a good connection.
Sorry I was trying to upload a picture but I can't
