Default Gas Gauge Dead

The fuel gauge problem in by '98 Blazer is different, and I'd appreciate any help you can give. The gauge was jumping for weeks then finally died. I dropped the 18 gallon plastic fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump and gauge sending unit. Still no gauge... Is there a ground somewhere that might be bad?

Thanks

Tom

Default RE: Gas Gauge Dead

Sorry for such a late response. I do not know if you still need help with this. I would monitor the fuel sender output with a scan tool capable of such monitoring. If you get a reading and it fluctuates when you jump on the back of the vehicle, then it is possible that the gauge in the cluster is bad.
