Gas pump maybe?
Ok, so for a long time i thought it was my tranny, but afther filling up a few times this week i realized its my gas pump, when ever i add more gas, for a few mins i really have to mash the gas just to barely get it to move, but after a while its back to normal acceration, it just seems like now that i see it differently that the engine just dosent get enough gas, so is it dirty injectors of a bad pump, i know the gas sending you is bad casue it hasnt worked since i bought truck
Hard to imagine you haven't seen one of the dozen or so times I've written this.
Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the schraeder valve on the fuel inlet line at the top rear of the intake manifold. With the ignition key in the 'on' position the pressure should be ~51-65psi. Turn the key to 'off' and the pressure should not drop more than ~2-3psi and then hold steady for the next few minutes. If either of the criteriais not met then you have either a bad pump, bad fuel pressure regulator, or perhaps an extremely clogged fuel filter. Let us know what you find from the readings.
