Question Gearbox oil

Hi,

i havent driven it about 6 months.
one day I had driven few miles just before. opened my hood and saw gearbox oli leaking out of the pipe where you check oil level. whan i opened the *** there were about 5 inch fountain of oli. when i started the engine, oil level droped. leater when i stoped the engine oil level rise again to the top of the pipe.

Is this your engine oil or your transmission fluid? Either way, that is not normal in the least.

The transmission case vent is located on top of the transmission about 1/3rd of the way back from the bell housing.
