Default getting ready to winterize

hey all,

so i got my blazer and it had some rust, so i got some POR-15 rust coating, as well as a gallon of duplicolor (i think was the brand) roll on bed liner. so i was going to do the sides, front and rear bumper, roof, hood, and i was thinking of doing the grille too just for funz. anyway i removed the body molding on the sides so i will be doing up to the curved part about 1/4 the way up the doors to follow the body lines over the wheel wells, and through the front and rear bumpers.

so my questions: (admittedly i havent taken a look yet)

1. how does the front bumper come off?
2. how does the rear bumper come off?
3. how does the grille come out?
4. any tips/tricks for bed liner product application?

on a side note i noticed the other day on the roof in the rear by the trunk there is 2 square holes centered on each side looks like i may be missing some kind of plug or something that goes in there. any idea what that would be?

thanks!

If your blazer is similar to mine, than the bumper is held on by 4 bolts. 2 on left middle and 2 on the right middle. On mine I first take the headlights out, than the grill. The grill sucks to take off because you can crack it very easily. Once you have the headlights out you will see how the grill comes out by just looking at how its connected to the front frame. Best to use a flathead, but be very careful its so easy to accidently break it. After grill is out, you will see the 4 bolts that mount the bumper. You will need an extension to get to them, or at least the back 2 if memory serves me correct. I've never taken the back bumper off, but just crawl underneath and look shouldn't be hard to figure out. Also I think you will have to undo the hood release cable to get the grill off.
