Default gmc jimmy lights

is there possibly some headlights that are blacked out? been looking for some but impossible to find.another question,is it possible that i can buy a chevy top light and find the bottom lights and glue them together and they still work for a 98 gmc jimmy?

I haven't ever been able to find any aftermarket headlights for a jimmy I have wanted some too. I know that the blazer top lights mount with no modifications but the bottom lights are held on by some screws and if you glue them together then there will be a space at the bottom. I know people have done the conversion and just put a blazer grill and lights but I think you have to replace your jimmy core support with a blazer one to help hold the grill. I'm no expert but I know there are other threads on here with the same questions and answers. search for "front end conversion" and see what you find

Hey I totally agree with you on that one I love the open grill of the gimmy's as well but the blazers have better choice for lights. I saw on here somewhere a thread where I guy used blazer lights and a jimmy grill but just cut out the part of the blazer grill that went between the top and bottom lights and put it in there to help with the space. I personally didn't like it but everyone has different tastes. I will try and find it and post the link.

Link of a guy that did the swap its on page 7.

https://blazerforum.com/forum/builds...-blazer-53997/

doesn't really explain it much but he had the blazer grill to start with and just cut out the center section and put in the jimmy grill. I'll try and find some more links.
