Its a 1998 blazer, 4dr; 2wd.

Okay, well!!! I took my blazer for about an hour and a half ride to meet my parents who were camping. On the way there, my cruise didnt work. It normally only works when its wants anyway, but i want to fix it. On the way back home, it started working and after a few miles i heard a click come from the kick panel area and the cruise stopped working. Worked again about 10 minutes up the road, of course when traffic started and it wasnt of use.... Along with that, ive noticed my intermittent wipers are weird. The only mainly work intermittently when they are on low.... If u put them on the setting right before low, they wipe the same speed as low. And below that, it is slightly delayed....

Next problem! Well, i also noticed yesterday that my shift doesnt lock in park any more. I tested it like a month ago and it locked fine. Had to press brake to release....

Any ideas???

I have checked the brake lights to make sure they work, and are not staying on, working fine. And i have an ABS light on, but its been on for a month r two and the cruise didnt work before the light came on...

 

Multi-function switch, & could also be the electronic ignition switch in the column check your vacuum your vacuum lines they may also need replaced

Alright, i found out that as far as my shifter, i do hear a click when i press and release my brake, like it wants to lock but cant... Its not a big deal, just curious incase it causes a problem in the long run....
