Hard starting when HOT!!!
The Blazer (1995) always starts great when cold, bit now with the outside temps near 100, the truck is very hard starting after being driven for a while. The temp gauge is not out of the "Normal" range. The truck runs fine once restarted. Any ideas?
I am going to do the whole plugs/wires etc this weekend but am hoping for a bit more insight.
TIA

RE: Hard starting when HOT!!!
I wonder if maybe you have a leaking injector causing a flood condition.
If you had an internal fuel leak and the engine was cold it could use the extra fuel for starting, but if the engine is hot it wouldn't need the extra fuel.
Have you tried pushing the gas pedal to the floor when it's hot (clear flood mode) to see if it starts easier that way?

RE: Hard starting when HOT!!!
Is it a hard start condition or an "extended cranking" situation? If you crank it for a long time and it starts, it possibly could be a leaking injector situ. Try putting your gas pedal to the floor to see if that clears it out (you have to push the gas pedal all the way down), crank for a few seconds, then let your foot off the pedal and keep cranking.
There are a lot of possibilites, maybe you can do some tests and give us more to go on...
