I know that my Harmonic alancer needs to be replaced. I was looking at RockAuto and noticed that there are 3 different kinds made by ACDelco. All of them are at different price ranges. I didn't really see much of a difference between them and didn't know which one I should get. Are there any differences between them aside from the cost?

The harmonic balancer you want is the AC Delco #10224885 / $69.79.
The cheapest part listed there is the Crank Pulley that bolts to the balancer and the most expensive one is the Balancer Shaft that is inside the motor.

Ohhhhhh...I see it now. From the pictures I was confused.
Any idea what size socket the crankshaft bolt is? Im going to try and borrow as many tools as possible without purchasing and when I pick up the breaker bar and socket, I want to make sure I got the right one. I have been scouring google and this forum but have not come across the answer yet. Still searching.

Crank bolt is 5/8" or 16mm, also will need a 14 or 15mm to get the crank pulley off the balancer. The balancer also needs to be pulled off with a puller.

Alright so I got the balancer and tools for removal and installation. Now how do I prevent the crank shaft from turning? I have seen something about using a screw driver and wedging in the flexplate teeth. I havent found much further info on the removal process.
Is there an 'easy' way to keep it from spinning?

Best way would be impact wrench. If that's not possible you may have to use something to hold it but be carefull not to bust anything causing more problems! Also probably gonna need a puller to get it off when the bolt is off. Sometimes this can be easy sometimes can be almost impossible without impact wrench and puller.

Look at where the oil pan meets the trans. there should be 2 rubber plugs sticking out, if you pull one out you can get a helper to hold a screwdriver in the hole against the flywheel while you loosen the bolt
