Default hazards

the hazard button on top of the steering column in my 97 4.3 broke and now my hazards are on constantly on. the part comes with the whole turn signal/wiper assembly and is around 150 dollars and i dont have the money for it right now. does anyone know what wire is for the hazards in the steering column so i can make a temporary fix?

Not a temporary fix, but a permanent and cost effective one: Hazard Switch
