headlight gap

Default headlight gap

i have a 2003 Blazer and i replaced both headlight bulbs today, and when i put the headlight assembly back in there is now a 1inch gap between the light and chrome strip. and ideas on what i possibly did wrong. thanks

you have to make sure the tabs are in the proper slots properly.

Take a flashlight and look under the headlights...

The tabs on the bottom need to slide into the little slots in the rad support.

There's a thread elsewhere on thistopicthat recommended popping off the grill to get better access to those bottom tabs. I followed the suggestion and it made the job MUCH easier (10 minutes tops).

Yea, without taking the grill off, they can be a pain sometimes.

Takes me about 10 minutes for both headlights with the grill on...

Flashlight comes in handy!

Plus, I'd done it entirely too many times, lol.
