Default Headlight replacement question...

My pass. front headlight lens is badly cracked, and needs replacing. My brother funs a Advance and I was looking through the system for a replacement lens, and he tells me theres two types. Composite, and I forget the 2nd one. Need to know if the lens is cracked do I have to replace the whole assembly or just the lens?

Ive never seen a replacement lens alone for sale,im not sure how you would seal it to the headlight assembly. The two headlight types are composite and sealed beam, if have the small bulbs that go into the the back of the headlight assembly its composite, otherwise the bulb is the whole unit.

Dam thats what I was afraid of. Luckly though, I tested to see if it had a stand alone bulb, without pulling the grill. Low beam is out, but high beam is still there, so pretty sure that its a composite headlight!

if its composite you have the low in one part of the lens the outside ones on mine, and the high in the second lens near the middle. Also the lens should be plastic, if its a square glass lens then its sealed
