Headlights go on and off 1997 Blazer.

Default Headlights go on and off 1997 Blazer.
After about 20 minutes,after I turn my headlights on they turn off and only my day light running lights are on. After afew seconds they comeback on. Then go off and so on. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Possibly head lamp relay going out. It may be over heating til it shuts down. When it cools they come back on. Try to find a "like" relay and switch them. See what happens.
