Heat Issue
I have a 98 chevy blazer 4x4. My "Service Engine Soon" light came on and I checked the heat output. It doesn't put out heat below 80 degree ish. The light went out but heat still doesn't work below 80. 80 and above it is pumping good heat. Any ideas? Thank You.
Im sorry but I dont totally understand your problem. If you can better describe what is happening (80 degrees outdoor temp? engine temp? Milage. ) it would help. Have you pulled the codes? The 2 problems may be totally unrelated. My first gut reaction would be to check the coolant level in the radiator when the truck is cold. Are you the original owner? If so, these trucks had some unique cooling system problems you may need to address.
