Default Heat won't stop

I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer. I had some valve work done in December. When it was completed, I wasn't given the car back immediately because the mechanic said the heat didn't work. (This wasn't the case when I gave it to them.) they horsed around with it for quite some time and never actually fixed it before I demanded to get my car back. The heat works fine, in fact it will not shut off. I can not get any cool air; no a/c; no outside ventilation. And the flapper door thing behind the climate control thing keeps moaning and groaning. I did check and that a/c is plugged in. But I need help...it's getting warm here and I'm starting to burn up. You can only comfortably be in the car if the front windows are down. HELP!

honestly i'd demand that they fix it

don't take no for an answer! it worked, they tried to fix it, it didn't work.

if you ain't comfortable with them working on it get some info from them and with that info work in that area or take to a diff shop.

sound to me like they disconnected something or broke something

i think they are required to fix it and if you dont want them to i think they are liable and would have to pay for you to take it to another shop.
