Default heater core and coolant leak

Ok. so this has been a problem i have been putting off for about 6 months. a little bit of a leak in the heater core. i think. 6 months ago i started blowing some fog from my defrost to the front window, just a small amount. i put some radiator stop leak in and that solved it until yesterday.

It started leaking again and blowing fog and steaming up the whole inside. So i am going to assume this is the heater core, It is a small leak and the amount of coolant lost is small. But i also have a puddle of coolant on my garage floor. So could this be from the heater core, or a seperate problem that could not be the heater core, or two leaks all together.

I had an s-10 and when the heater core on that went it went and i had a puddle of coolant at my feet. But with this one it seems to only be a small enough leak to cause some fog.

Im just wondering if this is the heater core and the puddle coming from this is from the heater core, or if it is even the heater core to begin with, but the heater core explains the fog from the vents.

So i think i have 2 leaks one in a heater core and one in the engine somewhere. Sound right?

don't think the heater core will leak externally,, because you have a puddle of coolant on your garage floor, i would suspect the water pump or radiator, somebody chime in if I stand corrected.

thats why im thinking i have 2 leaks. one which is externally.

and then a second being the heater core, which is why my vents are blowing steam, because an external leak wouldnt blow steam and fog up the interior.

so im thinking i have 2 leaks

- spring comes along and brings all the problems, just had to tune up, and fix vacuum leaks for the 4x4 and blower selection, now this all within a week, bah.

where is that? mine is leaking too.. its straight water no coolant, the water is only on the passenger side floor, its leaking from somewhere behind the dash and dripping down under the carpet and making it all wet.. i've talked to some people and they have told me its either the the drain is clogged. (where exactly is the drain) or my windshield is leaking or something

the ac overflow is what leaks on the garage floor. for yours (young murph) i doubt that your overflow is cloged. it would take a long time to fill up the heater box with condensation from the ac. but if you want to check if it is your heater box get a small screw driver like one for eye glasses and poke a little hole in the heater box and after your done just put some super glue over the hole. thats how i checked to see if my heater core was leaking (it was)

streblo i don't think yours is the heater core i would clean it off underneath and check it in the morning for leak spots.
young murph yours is the heater core. it's a pain in the butt, but a fairly cheap fix, 60.00 for a new one just changed it.

ok.. it only leaks when it rains so could be possible its my wind shield or a whole in my floor?

what would cause it to leak since you said my overflow prob isnt clogged and any ideas where exactly its coming from? i can seem to pinpoint it
