heater core and coolant leak

if you think your windshield is leaking then i think you should take out your dash it only took me 25-30 mins to take mine out (98 blazer) then spray it down with a hose and you will be able to pin point it.

do you think i can get my dash out in 25-30 minutes on my 1995 S10 pick up? i may have to do a heater core and was wondering how long or how hard it may be/ thanks

yeah thats my next step. it only started leaking recently so idk whats going on

yea it only took me 2.5 hours total to change my heater core just follow the manual and i thought it was easy as hell

so i didn't get a chance to take my dash apart but it rained again and i took out my glove box and started poking around and i saw that it was wet in the air intake where the fan is, hmm

Is you leak just on passanger side? I have same problem on both sides so I lifted carpet and and ran a hose over the car. I can see the water coming in through the rubber door seal!! carpet was soaked and puddle gathered in corner due to car being on a slope. still not fixed but thank god it;s not my heater core!

WOW. been on here since 07 and JUST figured out how to find the subscribed threads..........now that i have a big L on my forehead..the heater core was the problem and was leaking through the ac overflow...new heatercore..problem solved
