Heater Issues
I have a 2001 Blazer with 65K on it. No leaks anywhere however, I noticed that the temp crawls up to the 210 mark when sitting. If you rev the engine or drive the temp comes way down.
The heat itself seems cool when this occurs which I understand. My largest fear is that it could be a gasket issue. I just had the intake done for the 2nd time on the wifes Chevy Venture. This time I had the dexcool removed!!!!!
This Blazer sat for almost 9 months unused and I thought it might be an obvious problem (heater core, therm. etc.) that enthusiasts have seen on these. Going into winter in Chicago I would rather deal with it myself now the paying a garage in the dead of winter.
Thanks in advance for any advice!!!!!

It sounds like you may have a bad thermostat. Normal temp is around 200-210. Also a low coolant level will cause low or no heat. Cleck the coolant level first. Don't just check the coolant reservior. When cool take the radiator cap off and make sure the radiator is full.
