i have a 2000 jimmy, and my heather works its just that not hot enough, i changed the thermostat like 3 week ago, and it was working better, but i didnt felt like it was working completly right, but here at kansas we have a strange weather, and it is cold one day and then hot, so i got confused and i didnt know if it was me o the heather wasnt hot enough, so yesterdar we hit 10* and it felt like nothing was working, total freezing in there, so i took it to the dealer, and they came saying that the problem was the thermostat? what could be wrong, ??

Oh rooster.
It definately sounds like a restriction in the heater core. You can remove the heater hoses and use a garden hose to flush out the heater core in both directions.
When you top up the coolant make sure to recheck the level after it has warmed up and the thermostat has opened
