heating problems on 2000 blazer
usually if a heater core is plugged and you flush it soon it will start leaking and you will smell coolant and your windows will fog up. This usually happens at 2 am when your cold and can't see while driving so you have to drive home with your head sticking out the window to see and hope your engine doesn't get too hot and seize or cause damage.

my heater core went, i replace it my self . Now i have a heating problem . when i turn my heat on i get cool air throught the top and warm air in the bottom . someone told me, it may be that my heaterdoor is not opening. maybe when i reconnect the vaccum hose back , i probley put it wrong i dont know . i need help fixing this problem please . can someone help ,what would be the problem and how do i fix it . if its a vacuum lick , how would i know which line it is and how to fix it . thanks
Some of the systems are very complex. My wife's '99 LS was a nightmare to R&R. It has the full blown HVAC system. It has 5 that's right; FIVE doors in it. It is so easy to leave off just one plug or hose. It could be anything. I recall having the vacuum to control manifold pop off when putting it back together. That's just an example. You are just going to have to 'go back in' an look. I feel for ya man I really do. A model specific factory service manual may help you in the routing and connections. Then again it may not. My three volume manual can be disappointing at times. Good luck. I mean that. Check fuses.
flushed the heater core and whole coolant system for that matter, heat came back better then ever, as soon as it started to get colder and colder out heat totally disapeared, sometimes it seems like its trying to give me heat while im in motion but veryyy little then it will go back to ice cold! any ideas now? lol
