Hey guys whats up? Im new here, just wanted to say hey and ask a question. I recently bought a 96" 2 door, 4.3 v6, 5-speed, 4x4 s10 blazer. It's a great vechicle other than im almost positive it needs a transmission. It grinds in all gears and whines and makes noise even going down the road in all gears but 4th. It's not my daily but i want to get it fixed before winter get here. I was curious which transmissions are interchangeble? I've looked into it a little and everyone says somthing different lol. Will all the way to 04" work? Will a 4x4 s10 trans work? I wanna thank you in advance for your help and i look forward to talking with you all.
