Default Help, Blazer in Germany!!

I am back and the notorious 2001 Blazer xtreme is at it again. This time I cannot get the key to turn whatsoever. First a week ago it took a couple tries to actually fully turn it off and get my key out. It has been a gamble here and there. Sometimes it would have no problems, sometimes i would turn the truck off and it stops halfway and there is just some beeping and the battery light is on. But I think that it is just on because at that turn the electrical system is activated. Anyways, finally today I coudnĀ“t pull it out, jiggling and pulling later it finally came out. Thinking it was ok I try to put it in and turn, no turn at all, completely locked! Steering wheel locked tight also. I live in Germany and cannot take it to any dealer to fix it, can I rig it to where I can still use it by taking out the whole key cylinder???? Later i can get one though. Please help! Really, I have only one car and I NEED it!

Check this thread out. I posted the GM SERVICE document on how to replace the cylinder, it should be able to walk you through replacing the lock cylinder when you can get one...
