Default Help with gas filler hose.

Hello. I just replaced the gas sending unit on my 1995 Chevy Blazer. I am now trying to put everything back together. My gas tank is almost empty so it's pretty easy to move it around on the jack. My problem is I can't seem to connect the fatter of the two gas filler hoses back to the gas tank. It keeps collapsing when I try to work it in place. Should I just remove this and buy a new filler hose? I've tried using a lubricant but the filler hose won't keep it's shape. Thanks.

If it won't hold its shape, you likely should buy a new flex hose.
