Default help i lost a retainer clip

Hey everyone i was checking out my blazer earlier and noticed i have a severe tranny oil leak right at the coolant line fitting where it goes into the rad! it is one of those quick disconnect 3/8 lines....anyhow I got curious and pulled the retainer clip off of the top line going into the rad and i lost it. I am bringing the truck to the mechanic tomorrow, do you guys think it will be a big job to fix the leak or can it just be disconnected and the fitting relaced or the line reflared? Also do you think the mechanic has those retainer clips? because i am now missing the clip on the top line?

Default Why don't you fix it yourself?

It would appear you don't want to learn how to fix things. The knowledge is here for you to tap so you may learn how to fix it yourself and save some MONEY.

I'm pretty certain this tool is available as a loaner tool at O'Rileys and Advance Auto Parts. If your mechanic will do it for a nominal fee and give you the retainer clip then by all means go for it. I just choose to do things myself.
