I have a 2000 Blazer and followed the article on here how to replace the broken blue retainer in the back window. Oddly though, mine had a screw going through the retainer. There is a white clip in the center of the rod and the screw went through the retainer then into the white clip?? Is this the normal setup and will the Dorman 42426 retainer work on this application?? Thanks..New to the forum as I just bought this Blazer. Interesting that GM won't just sell the clip but u have to buy the complete actuator.
