Default Help Needed With Hesitation

I have a 2000 Blazer ZR2 with 125k on it. I bought it last week and it has not been driven since. I've been doing maintenance on it. I had it scanned and there are no trouble codes.

It idles fine and cruises fine but at very low RPM's it has a hesitation. It kind of sputters with the load of acceleration. It clears up around 1800 RPM's.

I have been doing research but I was hoping someone knowledgeable could lend me their mind-

Thank You-
Brian

I bought it a week ago. have not checked fuel pressure. wouldn't low fuel pressure cause it to idle poor? I will check that.

Previous owner said he did a recent tune up. But I didn't see receipts.

Thanks

id inspect the wires , plugs , rotor and cap see how they look . Also these trucks prefer ac delco for ignition products

also remember fuel problems wouldn't light a ses light on

I'm going to clean the egr today. Do I need a replacement gasket if I remove the Throttle Body?

Thanks

well I didn't do the EGR. I did remove the TB and cleaned it real good. It helped- a little- with the hesitation.

I do not have a fuel pressure gauge. I went out and there was NO pressure in the fuel line. When it's running there is good pressure.

After a few minutes of being off- there is no pressure in the fuel lines. So something is bleeding off.

I do not smell fuel anywhere though. What do you think?

the best way to find out if you have bad pressure is with a gauge .

call your local auto parts and find out if they have a loan a tool program . most of them do

Mine had the exact same problem. Small hesitation when getting on the gas from a stop. My problem was a clogged cat combined with a vacuum leak. Vacuum leak was the biggest contributor to the problem tho. With your engine running listen in the engine compartment for a sucking noise, and if you hear one try and figure out generally where it's coming from.
