I Broke the side Vent window Glass on my 2dr 2000 Blazer, I've also heard it called the Rear Vent Glass. Its the smaller back window with a lil handle that opens and closes it, this window seems hard to get and or to get installed espically for the 2Dr. Ive been quoted 400-550$ for glass and installation. which is too steep for me. I found the glass by itself for 55-80$ but with incorrect / or no tint (the one for 55$ had gray tint were I have black).
Of course I could tint it myself but...
Ive never Installed Glass before, I have no idea how to do it.But I watched some videos on it, read a little about it now, And am thinking about doing it myself


But Id like to hear the Opinions of some of the more experienced guys here as to what would be best to do.

I've Purchased the glass got it for 40$ with shipping off ebay through S10warehouse, it will be arriving by next Monday I know ill need a rivet gun but does anyone know if I need to buy silicone/sealant for this window? and if so what type would be best.

 

The original seal should work.

I was going to post that it is riveted in but you already figured that one out...lol
