Help Please
Hello all...about 2 months ago my 2001 Chevy Blazer with a 4.3...V6 Vortec 4 wheel driver..was running good. It soon wouldnt start..but would almost start and hit 1k RPM then bog out. I checked the cap and rotor and was getting no spark. So i replaced the plugs cap rotor and wires and was getting spark, and it would still not start. I also replaced the camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor and the Central Port Injector. i am getting gas from the fuel pump into the engine..i need some help I cant think of anything else

how many miles do you have on it? when was the last time you replaced your fuel filter? have you checked the battery and the connections? have you checked the fuel pressure? when did you replace the air filter?

The vehicle is my girlfriends it has about 115,000 , so I'm not sure about the last time any of the parts were replaced the connections are good. And I haven't check the fuel pressure

are you sure the ignition is timed right?
if you have the correct fuel psi, air and spark and it still doesn't start then it is a compression issue. If it is timed right, then you will need to check compression. YOu can rent the compression gauge from Autozone.

Through all that it didn't throw any codes? So you have spark now, but still not starting?

Yep getting spark but not starting
#7
Did you test the fuel pressure? If so, what is the psi reading from the gauge, key-on/engine-off?

I don't have a fuel pressure sensor so I need to try that . Not a very mechanical guy so don't really have testers and such

Actron CP7818 $44 at Autozone. They may even allow you to 'loan' it.

Alright I'll give that a try and let you know what the pressure reading is
