Default HELP!!!!! sputtering

i drove through a puddle yesterday afternoon in the parking lot at work, and about 2 minutes after my truck started to sputter real bad. i figured maybe a sensor got wet so i didnt drive it to work today to see if maybe it would dry and be ok. So this afternoon it turned on fine, but was sputtering again ..... any suggestions.

The most common problem that would cause your sputtering in wet conditions is needing new spark plug wires and or rotor and distributer on your truck. Another possibility is that you have sucked water into your air filter and got it wet enough that it is restricting airflow. It's rare but I have seen it happen a couple times in the past.

There could be other things causing it though but I would start there. How deep was this puddle that you went through? And how fast were you driving through it?

checked each wire one by one, and sure enough my number 6 wire was bad. I went ahead and replaced wires, cap, and rotor. THANKS for the reply man.
