Help with Sqeaks and light
Hey all, this is my first post.
First things first .. I researched here quite a bit and this community rocks!
I purchased a few months back my first Blazer (03 Blazer LS 2WD 2door) and I love it. it's peppy and strong . But when I drive there are 2 sqeaks coming from the back ... one sounds like it is coming from directly behind me, right above the smaller back window and the other sounds like it is coming from the passenger sider rear wheel well trim ( the inside ). I took the Interior apart and thought maybe one of the retainer clips is missing and the plastic is rubbing against the metal, because that is what it sounds like, but even after putting it all back together . no luck
Also. my driver side parking light is out , replaced bulb and nothing. where could I find a wiring diagram so I can hunt this down as well.
Thanks in advance and if you have any information on this it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Phil

Welcome to the site and thanks for the compliments. We have a lot of great members who make this forum possible.
On the squeaks, very common in 2nd gen blazers, my solution was to either layer everything with sound deadening or use that 3M double sided foam tape and put between the panels and such. Will create a little pressure on the panels so they cant move very much.

I had the same problem. Go to your local hardware store and buy some foam weatherstripping (like 5/8" thick). You can normally get a roll of it for a couple dollars. Then place strips of it underneath of your plastic. This will keep the retainer clips from jostling around and most likely eliminate your squeak.
