help turns over but wont run?
Drove my 98 4.3 blazer today seemed to do fine. I was tracing down some things with my 4 wheel drive(checked vaccum under battery, and electronics in front chunk). Got back in and drove when I started it I noticed a little trouble starting but then went away and seemed fine, turned off and let it sit for about 2 hours. When I came back and tried to crank it turns over strong but won't run? I tried coil and I'm getting spark there. There's also a strong raw gas smell? Also checked all the fuses.Does any one know what it could be or has ever had this happen

when was the last time you replaced your air filter and fuel filter?
and where is the gas smell coming from?

Ok some things iv found. Pump was turning on when key was turned. I was told these chevys u can hear the pump whine but doesn't mean its workin and a quick fix is to bump the tank. While getting under to hit the tank I noticed the gas smell was very strong so I turned ignition off. Then after hiting the tank still nothing but I just so happened to look at the tank and saw that when the pump came on it spit gas from the top of the tank (a lot) for a few seconds till pump went off. I pulled tank to find two of the plastic inlets where the hoses meet for the R and v was broke....would this make it not crank?
Assume you mean not run...not not crank, right?
Also by R and V, do you mean Return and vent??
If the fuel pump is spitting out fuel, then there is not enough pressure at the intake for the injector to work...hence why the engine will not run.
Are you able to fix the R and v?
