Default Help! Very hot and Wet,passenger floor

I just finished a 3 hour drive and my wife was complaining the whole time about the floor being very hot.
when we got home i noticed the floor was extremely wet and hot. i pulled back the carpet and the underlay was soaked and steaming. it was almost too hot to touch.
I had the A/C on for most of the trip
does anyone have any idea what might be going wrong?
Thanks in advance.

you could probably have a hole in the heater core underneath the dash.

im pretty sure it will keep flowing through the heater core even if you are using the a/c. i could be wrong.

Since that would be 239*F, I'm afraid the bad heater core diagnosis is correct. That's probably why the temperature is running high.
