ok Im my 96 four door 4x4 I have been having temp problems it would never heat past 160 so i changed the thermostat didnt help did 2 professional coolant flushes because the rad was dirty then i changed the coolant temp sensor now it mostly stays at 160 but it will go up to 210 for a sec and then right back down to 160 i have heat oh and i also took the tubes off and flushed the heater core still the same results what would be causing this and what is the other temp sensor exactly called im out of ideas please help

Air. Air in the system will cause this issue. These motors can be a royal pain to get all of the air out of.
