Default hey guys

LOk this truck is pointing to all different kiñds of things its a98 blazer 4.3 4×4iwas driving it home it died after messing with the maf senser swaping coil packs i got it to run but i have no power when its cold i have no high end power wants she warms up it gets worse i have no power at all i have to pretty much floor it for it to even attempt to get out of its own way i cut the cat off thinkin that was the culprit no luck it did help a little but did not solve my problem noticed my oil pressure was up check yhe level ended up draining like 7 quarts of flui out and. Put good oil back in filled it with antifreeze took out all the plugs cleaned a re gapped i checked fuel pressure it holds at sixty drops of to about 57 after ten min when i decided to check my cap and rotor i noticed an exssesive amount of play in the rotor i could turn it by hand like a 1/4 turn i know this is to much play and i am not running on all cylinders. I drove it after all of this just to see what it would do well after 2days i cjecked the oil level she is a little hi but its ok i do have water in my oil but its not dumping it in to it
its more like a slow leak no clouds of smoke from the exhaust. I plan on doing a compression test tomorrow but wanted to see what ur guys opioin might be if the compression test checks out i plan to buy plugs and wires new distributor fuel filter another oil change and an intake gasket set and maybe a new fuel pressure regulator hope to hear from u guys ttyl

There are no coil packs on a stock '98 4.3L Blazer engine....only one coil. Were you moving the spark plug wires around at the distributor?

If there is enough coolant getting into the oil via a blown head gasket, coolant in the chamber is not going to provide much power. Also the coolant is going to destroy the main and rod bearings quickly which will result in spun bearings or worse, the engine locking-up.

Would not buy any parts until the compression check is done. Suggest pulling the heads off and replacing the head gaskets before more damage happens.

Well this i know that there is only one coil and the intake gasket can cause the same issue included water in the oil and running rough theres is probably a good chance its the distributor cuz there is way to much play in it and yea thats why IF the compression test checks out i plan on getting just the intake set im not ruling the head out i just think that he leak if it was a head the leak wouldbe alot worse i would think but thats why im doing the compression test to ouble check myself

A small leak in a head gasket will make this happen. Do a compression check like you said. The distributor will have some play due to the helecal gear.
