Depends do you have the 4.3, 2.8, or what.
You could always drop in a 350 kinda easy, just kinda cashy.

 

i would suggest-

modify stock intake box
K&N drop in
March power pullies
2.25" or 2.5" y-pipe with straight threw exhaust to a straight threw muffler
Torque converter
Full tune

 

put some of those chinese lettering stickers on it. I think that bumps the hp up about 35-40. and some of those led windshield washer lights, those add about 78 hp.[sm=gears.gif]

 

what modification to the intake box are you talking about 02 vortech? over the last week i put a throttle body spacer and a k&n drop in in my 05 blazer (4.3L) and i've noticed a rather large boost in power (spacer moved the torque down about 800RPM and gave me about 10 more horses--the company claims +15 so im saying plus maybe 10hp)

im always looking for more power tho---up next will be a power programmer--but im interested in this airbox mod....
