Good Day! The reason you will lose power & fuel economy is twofold: first you have the increased rolling resistance with those large tires and the reduced aerodynamics of the vehicle being 6" higher. Second:when you increase the diameter of the tire by about 6 inches as well you have effectively raised your rear end ratio(lowered numerically)
That means that with a standard 3:42 ratio you have raised it to the area of 2:70!You will constantly have to have your foot in it to get it to perform even poorly;the situation will be much worse if you by chance had the optional rear ratio of 3:07-then the new ratio will be an undrivable 2:40 or so...
You will have to re-gear the axle;hope you have the 8.5" ring gear as well as you will need it for the added stress added by the re-gear.You will also need to look into a performance chip and breathability issues(K&N filters, headers etc)
You will have a bitchin' Blazer when done, but you will never see economy in excess of around 18 or so on the open road... Good luck to you!
