Ok so I cut a hole in my fuel line right behind the driver side head. I've been doing some reading on fixing it and went to buy compression fittings yesterday but the guy at store told me it wouldnt work...anyone else ever heard of an issue like this??? Any help is appreciated. Thanx

itll work if you get the right size. if you go to any auto parts store and buy a "fuel line repair kit" thats what you get, some line and a compression fitting. i got one in my 90 chevy truck. and have done them to trucks at work, even brake lines... which i really wouldnt recommend unless absolutely necessary
also dont get super crazy with tightening it. i do it maybe a hair past snug, or until you kinda get the creak from it.
i gotta know how did you cut the fuel line lol

I used regular general store hose clamps to fix my fuel line when the mechanic forgot to crimp it, he said it was a good fix but ended up crimping it properly
