Default Hole in Tranny Housing Leaking Oil?

I have a hole in my tranny bellhousing. Went under this this morning and thought it was my oil cooler lines. I have a small hole and was wondering if JB weld would work. This is my daily driver. I will have some pics later after I wake up. Also would it be leaking tranny fluid. It is petty wet down there and couldn't tell if it was oil or dexron. Anyway just seeing if anyone had this problem.

Use Marintex. It is the best stuff for this. Must be clean and free of oil residue. Rough up with some rough sand paper and apply. Then file away what is not needed. This is what alot of tranny shops use.

J-B Welld is a perfectsolution and it is a permanent repair. Iused J-B Weld to repairwhat appeared to be a nail hole in an oil pan and there was not a sign of a leakten years later when I sold the car. I applied theJ-B Weld two-part epoxywith a ice cream sitck and smooth it down neatlyand gave it a light coat ofengine colorfrom a rattle can and I never saw evidence of the hole again. You could spot paint your transmission case with flat aluminum spray paint and the repair will disapear.

I think I fixed it. What actually happened or what looked like was when someone was offroading(not me as the 4x4 doesn't work); A big *** piece of something got wedged between the driveshaft and oil pan and took out a big clunk of the aluminum right in between the bell housing and oil pan. Which in effect left me with a hole. And we know how easy oil pans are to replace on the 4.3's. So i got some jb weld epoxy putty. I think it's working so Ill give it a few days and update you guys. Thanks for the help. Next up water pump and oil cooler lines! yay!
