I just finished this same job yesterday. In my 2000 Jimmy, there was no vehicle plug to connect the brake controller to. My car had the trailer package but not the HD trailer package(which I believe adds the brake controller wiring).

I was trying to find a module also thanks..
What "module"?

rear of truck colors are:

Brown = Running lights
Yellow = Left Turn/Brake
Dark Green = Right turn/Brake
White = Ground

Light Green = Backup lights
Light Blue = Aux Stop light

Wires coming out of the controller, where the splices are, may be:

White = Ground
Black = +12V input (20Amps)
Red = Stop light switch (White wire at switch terminal A)
Blue = to trailer brakes

I don't think there is a "connector" to plug the controller into in a 2nd gen Blazer. I may be wrong on that. Definitely not on my car. Even if you had the HD trailer harness with the HEAVY Blue wire, there was no "connector" up under the dash. I think.....

If this is correct, you will have to run a heavy wire from the battery, to a circuit breaker, to the controller and then back to the trailer socket.

That'll work. I tapped into the line at the brake pedal switch. Same thing.
