How can I tell if I have a cip engine
I need to know if my engine is a cip for a header I want can anyone expain the differences?

um... cip??? Do you mean CPI(Central Port Injection)??? If you have a 96+, you have a CSPI (Central Sequential Fuel Injection). 92-95 would be a CPI and older than 92 would have been the TBI (I think). The differences between CPI and CSPI is that the CPI uses 1 large injector to basically feed all cylinders at the same time (no independent bank control) while the CSPI uses 6 injectors in a centrally located pack that then, through poppet valves, feeds fuel to the cylinders when they need the fuel (at the intake stroke with the intake valve open). The CSPI has much better control over fueling.
I don't know what the injection system has to do with getting headers... Typically, they'll ask if you have air injection and/or EGR... If you have a 96+, you have both.

thanks I cant find headers that will fit my engine I got a 97 4wd 4.3l and all of the headers say it wont fit if I have a egr. DOes anyone know of headers that will fit a 97 blazer 4dr. 4.3l with a cspi
