Default How to change the coolant in 95 blazer?

What's the best method to change the coolant? I had a problem with overheating. I found that the water pump was leaking. So today going to change water pump, thermosat, and radiator cap. Upper and lower radiator hoses and heater hoses were changed 30k ago. The lower has a coil in it, but the upper does not. Is this normal? I'm also considering replacing the fan clutch because I think it is not working at times. BUT my main concern is changing out the coolant. I've heard it can really be a problem to get all the air out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Raise the front end with the passenger side slightly higher, radiator cap off, run the engine up to operating temp and watch for air bubbles coming out. When they stop, turn it off, add coolant as necessary and let it cool down. Repeat a second time to be sure the air is out.
