You can pull it back some to get it to fit. At least that is what I did on my old Bravada.

just over to the side for the adaptor and hose to fit and so it is not restricted?

Cutting was never an option to me, if I had to I would of taken my chances without a tranny cooler.

Tomorrow I'm going to advance auto and buy a tranny cooler.

Especially towing to fl and the heat down there...

Thanks Much appreciated.

Jim

Yes. Maintain the proper bends for the rubber lines. It should say minimum 6" diameter or something like that.

the way I'm going to do is to have the shortest path for the hoses, so the connection for the tranny cooler are going to face the passenger side and the tranny cooler is going to be mounted on the pass side.

and I have to assume that because there is more volume for tranny fluid, I will have to add a half a quart?

thanks

Jim

If you buy a B&M Supercooler Part # 70268 they come with everything you need to hook them up & mount them. They are $46.75 from Summitracing.com. I installed one in my Blazer 4x4 & just went to Summit today & bought one for our Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9. They fit perfect on the right side. They are the best cooler on the market, & small 11"x7.5"x3/4". I burned our Blazer tranny so bad the fluid was blowing out the vent when towing a trailer. Well I had it flushed & filter changed twice then added the B&M cooler & 18,000 miles later the fluid is still like new. I have towed with it since. We do a lot of rough off-roading with it.

I did not have time to order one, I am moving to florida sat ( towing a 5X8 u-haul) so i picked one up at advance auto today and installed it.

the instructions say 1 hr, yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to be sure the hoses were not being pinched and double checked the connections, took it out for a ride twice....

feels different tho, is that to be expected?

had to add 1/2 quart b/c of the extra volume of the cooler and the hoses.
