I searched for a little bit and found out atleast I'm pretty sure that they came with a 525CCA battery. I won't be able to tell you what mine is because I don't get it back until this weekend
. What make's you think it won't last threw winter?

I had an 800CCA Deka battery in my Bravada when I traded it. My Rainier will be getting a new battery in another year or so and I'll use the other one for a new bench test battery. I'll be replacing the battery in my Rainier with a Deka as well, probably the same 800CCA as I had in my Bravada! I jump start quite a few people in the winter!

I am at 650cca and 800ca. It has worked fine for me in the UP winters with jumpstarting many a people, I never had a problem. It is an AC Delco battery. I will be upgrading eventually to something with a dual post design.

I installed an AutoZone Duralast Gold, 720 CCA, to replace the AC/Delco factory battery. The thing to remember is that it is the 'cold cranking amps', not just the 'cranking amps', that matters. I've always believed in getting the most CCA's that you can.

Unless you see -4 or colder on a regular basis, you won't need anything more than the stock battery...
Personally, I like to have the highest CCA possible... Heck, I had a 925CCA in my old '85 S10... (Which started on a POS battery with 250 cranking amps...)
