So far mine are good. I just recently discovered there is a greasable u-joint on the front axle that I have never greased. But I have not had any issues up to about 140,000 miles.

New ones I replaced both have greasable nipples, but one has a weird needle tip. It was a moog ujoint.

Search out Krown Rustproofing using their web site. Canadian company tends to have shops near Canadian borders. I have mine done every other year. It's an oil spray type of rustproofing. Seeps into all the cracks and crevices like Wd40 - but you have to re-apply periodically. Those Canadians know how to do it. NH rust can't be worse than North Central Indiana. I drive 2 vehicle 150 miles each way to get it done near Detroit. Ziebart is a joke. Hard undercoating is a moisture and salt trap as soon as it gets through a hole in the undercoating (and it will). Once hard undercoating is done, you're pretty much stuck with it and would be better to have it touched up every year before winter. I started the rustproofing after buying my 2004 Avalanche that spent all it's life in west central Georgia (no discount up here for rust it seems, so I went south to buy). I intentionally searched out a vehicle that had never seen salt and I think I bought one. Now just need to make it last.

Last year I also did my Blazer (which originally came from Wisconsin 5 years ago) after replacing bumper that started to bubble under the paint - but surprisingly nothing else is rusted through. It has the hard undercoating from a long time ago, but I'm counting on the Krown to slow down the internal body rot and make it last in nice shape until I can get my money driven out of it ( I ended up with $12500 in it 5 years ago after an unexpected series of repairs). I figure another 4 years should do it and then it won't owe me a dime. It had 60K miles on it when I bought it. Now a little over 100K. Wife loves it. Nice Sport Utility Vehicles are expensive these days

Thanks, will check it out! Very nice SUV. If you noticed, the 2019 Blazers are selling from $40 to $65K. My classic car mechanic said a nice, low mileage S10 will value in the low $20's in about ten years.

I had a Brand new 78 K5 Blazer when I was in my early 20's and look at the value of those now! Wish I kept it!
