Question How Much? Brake line

Ok....so how much am I looking at to replace a brake line....looks like it's leaking from where the line comes into the frame.....just above the flex line.

Am I wrong in guessing about an hour labor? The labor for my fuel pump was $175....

yeah if that, unless the minimum rate is 1 hr. i love doing brake lines, and everyone at my work hates them so i always do them. in theory i could have that line swapped out in 15 minutes. but then you have to bleed the brakes and theres always what ifs? what if the bleeders break off, what if the next brake line down the line is rotted and brakes.

i remember blowing a brake line in the similar spot in a old 85, all the lines attached to the blown line broke, then the bleeders broke off the wheel cylinders then the lines that went to those were rotted and broke. what a disaster that was

but thats worse case scenario

As abig84 stated, it's a crap shoot. It really depends on how bad things are under there. I too have had them go like a dream and then other ones where you just want to wake up from the nightmare.
