don't know if the fuses are the same as a 2000... Instrument panel fuse block #12 ILLUM or try wiggling your dimmer **** to see if there's a bad spot

check to see if your brake light fuse is burned out, generally the dash lights will not come on if your brake light fuse is burned out.. The illum fuse is for the dome lights.

If all your fuses are good, my experience with these trucks is that when they get these kinds of oddball symptoms, it's usually pointing to the multifunction switch.

also check the switch next to the headlight switch, The one ya roll with your finger on to turn on/off the interior lights or dim the dashboard lights... I had the same problem and thats what it was..it was turned all the way down after someone drove my truck and didnt know what the hell they were doing.. O and they dont drive the truck anymore...

Default Dash Lights

2000 Blazer manual trans. My dash lights are out I have checked all the fuses and I bought a used light switch from ebay and the lights worked then went back out. I bought another new light switch they came on then after I got it back together then the lights went out again, all the fuses are good. The warning lights and blinkers all work. I don't see any bad wires. I don't know what to do I bought a set of reverse glow gauges so I can have dash lights again. Do I need to replace the instrument panel? The digital odometer works it dems like it should when you turn the lights on a the day time running lights work too.

Definitely sounds like a connection issue to the headlight switch.
