Default I need some ICM help

Not to long ago I was told my ICM had a low output so I replaced it and now my 95 blazer died on me and wont even start any more. Now my scan tool is shooting out a code for a ICM high output can some one help me out here I just dumped about 3k into it. Can some thing different be causing the ICM to have a high out put. It would stall on me when I would take off from a stop. I have the 4.3 vortec.

Put the old ICM back in and see if engine will start. Be sure to use the dielectric grease on the back of the ICM...without it and the ICM will fry in a short time.

Dang I don't have the old one any more. I will get a new one and see if it will work. is it possible I bought a bad one? I don't know how often that happens. If that doesn't work could some thing else be causing the problem? Thanks again, Im still kind of new to the forums.

Bad ICM out of the box...that never happens.....yeah right!!!

What brand did you get? The Wells brand of ICM usually do not last very long. Best to get a Delco unit.

Check all connections again.
